Prisoners

by Viola   May 17, 2007

Chained to the ground
And surrounded by fear
Lost in our dreams
And broken with tears
Yeah we're all prisoners here
Stuck inside our lonesome lives
There's just no escape
From the pain that surrounds us
And the blood
In pours like rain
From our tortured veins
This world
It beats us all down
It breaks our already beaten hearts
And it tears through our souls
No escape from it all
We're all prisoners here
If you try to leave you'll find
There's no way out
You'll fall right back down
Crawl your way up
Just to end up at the bottom?
It's not worth it
Don't waste your efforts
We're all prisoner here
