Grandad i will always love you
deep within my heart
even though your gone forever
inside we will never part

the good times that we shared
are the ones i'll never forget
but the pain and hurt i witnessed
are the ones i do regret

we were one big happy family
untill the gods took you away
why were you cursed with cancer
i still wonder why today

not a bad bone in your body
not a sin within your faith
only goodness roamed your spirit
and your temper remained safe

you always brought the laughter
to any time or place
i would give anything at all
to see your smiling face

although i can not see you
i no that it is true
i miss you now and always
and you still miss me too

ill never ever forget you
and the way you used to be
so now id like to say goodbye
and set your spirit free
