Regrets

by Diana   May 19, 2007

Slowly do the days pass by
And still i haven't said
to you, my final goodbye
That's tangled up like a silken thread

My thoughts are all jumbled
my mind is a mess
my pride is a humbled
While I prepare to confess

My feelings for you
Even though you couldn't see
Have always remained true
From the days we met at the sea

I know I seemed cold
Not showing I cared
About this good old l
ove we have always shared

But honey the truth
Is that I was afraid
That the love of our youth
Would turn into a loveless seranade

I realize now that I was wrong
But yet the damage has ben done
As I prepare to sing one last song
For our love that had become undone

Before you go listen well
For these are my last words to you
I bid thee farewell
And a love filled adieu
