Death Like Moment

by caitlin   May 19, 2007

Crystal ice drip from her eyes
skin pale, soft, worn out creates her youthful face
decision her mind shouts yet her hands shake, reaching for the phone
daisies simple, elegant, known cradle her tears falling heavy and bright.

Thunder strikes breaking strength and determination
climbing, scraping her pillowy hands bloody and red
breaths labor as the world shakes, a vicious slap to her face.

flinging herself down, body, life, light die from her eyes
cool breeze whispers dangerous secrets onto her face.
love, a syllable uttered from his thick roughened lips plays a tune as she falls
Go now it screams, give up, let him go.

sweat cold, clamy, dripping labors her face as she awakens
dreams, plagued messages swim in her head
touching a broadened shoulder she weeps
he's hers still here in silence, love, and peace

amber eyes fill her gaze
lifting her up he cradels her softly
"I'm yours baby" the deep voice whispers
filling her, he erases her fears.
