I won't compare

I won't compare you to a rose
because roses wilt and die
i won't compare you to a dove
because they can't reach past the sky

i won't compare you to the sun
because the sun goes down at night
i won't compare you to the moon
because it doesn't shed much light

i won't compare you to a sunset
because they happen only once a day
i won't compare you to a memory
because memories fade away

i won't compare you to a fire
because they're easily put out
i won't compare you to the stars
because they just fall and burnout

i can't compare you to anything
whether it be living fake or real
because nothing can describe;
the way you make me feel
