My sick place

by silence kills   Jan 11, 2008

A soothing sense of calm; the safe haven of my mind
A simple state of nothing where everything's refined
A place of escape when there's no where else to go
A place I wish I'd found, many years ago
A silent wishful nothing to accompany the guilt
A longing for release from the mistakes on which it's built
A sense of meaninglessness entangling the space
I wonder how it calms me down... This sick and twisted place

Lovely. its sad but peacfully so. in a calm when chaotic sort of way. its worded beautifully and the flow was strong and carried out through the entire poem. i love it.

This is so good! You speak from the heart, but with poetic flow and rhyme, showing true talent! I applaud!
