Little Voices

by Ly   May 22, 2007

I'm standing here, looking through the blinds.
These happy little kids are who I used to be.
Their childish laughter, their innocence,
Their little voices captivate me into this imagery.

Looking at them, I see my past.
There were nothing to worry back then
I don't remember wondering if
That moment will ever return again.

Later on, I will see myself standing at this spot, this very moment.
Thinking, "I've made it this far, don't regret and turn around."
So it's best to enjoy what I''m seeing, what I am feeling
I'm standing here, smiling at that little girl without a sound...even though she isn't there.
