A broken friendship

We used to sit and laugh all day
But now
We're different in so many ways.
We used to talk and play together,
And used to think our friendship would last forever.
We used to believe we were true
But now I realize
I'm only another person in this world to you.
I wanted to stay friends like we were before,
But the friendship we had -
Is here no more.
We were special in so many ways
But it all disappeared one day.
The memories you have
And the ones I have too,
Are the only things I think of when it comes to you.
But now, its all gone
And you're no longer here;
And all we have left are memories,
Of the times we spent together
