I hold the power

by Brittany   May 22, 2007

He wouldn't even be talking to me If it wasn't for
The terrible secret
That my eyes hold
I wouldn't tell
But he doesn't know
I hold
The power
To destroy
All the lies
Fake friends
And roomers
Why do
We want it so bad
What do we gain
I hold the power
The power to destroy
But still
I choose not to
Why?

This is poem is based on something that happened to me. I now a secret about a boy at school and the only reason he talks to me is so i don't tell. It's just about what his mom does for work. i would never think of saying anything but he thinks so. so he talks to me when people are not around.
