I feel sorry for lives lost at sea
i feel sorry knowing there lives lead us to be free
it like god wanted us to prove we are strong
to keep the human race going on and on
all the family memories are all they have lets hope they last

i feel so the mothers and the wives
with interrupted lives
i feel for the fathers and the sons who led this world to be one its so sad
so little kids didn't no any one called dad
when people talk about the diggers
its in such such a proud tone with nothing bad to say
Australia was so happy the day the war went away

lets say a silent prayer
for all the soldiers life's in thin air
i wonder how many suffered bad
i would i if i lost a best like that had
to see a friend die like that
because of one wrong move when attacked
let thank them always
cause with out them we wouldn't be able to live our lives this way
