A New Chapter

My heart is racing, pacing through my mind
running from the past, hiding from its binds
I can't take back, impossible to move on
I'm dying to live, crying to be heard
I'm trying to forget, drowning in the lies
fearing my demise, those feelings never die
look into my eyes, I can't handle life
the fear I try to erase
disgrace to throw in my face
for resolving with pain
you think I'm insane when you'd do the same
you think like the rest, causing only stress
falling slowly but surely failing
there's no way to erase
what's written in blood
no way to lose the stains on my flesh
no reasons to go back
only causing me more harm
pissing on the tendencies
for suicidal thoughts
