I sit here and watch as you play and grow
from one season to the next I've learned all there is to know.
your journey has been rough but now you must go.
through the wind and the rain you have held on so tight
but now it is time for you to engage in your flight.
there may be times where I'm no longer in sight
but I know you will be fine and cover the earth with your beauty.
it's a long way down but I know you will make it.
you have grown to be wonderful and I will always sit
here and watch as you move from place to place,
