Best Friends

by Mrs Lazzzzzzzzzara   May 24, 2007

Laced in white, quivering from the cold,
I walked in, i sat alone,
I knew as eyes moved across my body,
People could not grasp me. my story was unknown.

Difference, was obvious,
Like i thought with a different mind,
My eyes traveled across the room,
Thoughts were in rewind.

You came towards me,
With an understanding, a glow,
Like you've been there before,
Like you had something to show.

You slowly stretched out your hand,
As my cold hand slipped into your palm,
Beginning of a new chapter,
The once raging sea became calm.

A blessing was born,
Nothing could break, nothing could rip,
Another meaning to life,
I find a shine through our friendship.

What you are to me, is something that can't be replaced,
My sun, my meaning, my best friend,
The reason I'm still standing,
I promise, our story has no end.
