Are we seeing more than we think?

by Erin   May 24, 2007

I am fascinated, utterly captivated when it comes to stars.
When I look in the sky, I can't help but to think that there's meaning for them greater than what could be explained in my textbooks.
What if those lights in the sky aren't something, but nothing?

In a sky full of something, what if these stars are nothing, nothing but absences of something.
Like a black velvet sheet stretched across the sky, and by God's will small pin pricks were created to give us a glimpse of what is beyond what we can see.

-Heaven-

Through the darkness we see the light, how familiar does that sound when we think of spirituality?
Is God giving us a beautiful taste of what He has in store for us?
What a charmer God is, look around you at all the beautiful gifts He has given you, given us!

Well I think it's only fitting that one of the most gorgeous aspects of this creation have a purpose, and it just may be to inspire.
To inspire our hearts to perform God's will, to love Him.
Let the astounding lights above you remind you that you are not living for you!

You are living to love, so love with all of your heart, and reach with arms wide open, and for Heaven's sake, look to the stars!
