Ephemeral Beauty

by contorted   May 24, 2007

The scenic landscape painted by
Its gleaming beauty makes me cry
The setting sun in the exquisite horizon
Isolates me, I sink to mourn.

My vulnerable heart excites
When beauty to me recites
The saddest poems of everlasting love
That touch my sentiments and make me sob.

Beauty led me, it made me love,
It taught me how at times to sob,
And cry and yell like hell
Where beauty sometimes has to dwell.

I cry today
Because I think of the day
This shortlasting beauty will fade away
But these lovely moments I'll always cherish
To pour my tears of perfect bliss.
