My broken feelings

You stay forever in my painful mind,
My lost feelings you so tightly bind,
Nervous flutters attack my heart,
And your quietness pierces like a dart,
Are you serious or playing? I cannot tell,
My spirit for you I will always sell,
As the feeling pulls me down the well,
I reach out longingly,
Shattering my shell!

Seeking comfort from this pain,
To stop myself from going insane,
The wonderful bliss of dreams I take,
In my world where there I fake
The tenderness of which you cruelly forsake,
My cry of frustration!
Seems trapped in translation,
As emotion withdraws inside a crustacean

I see you but speak not,
The confidence I forgot,
Panic surrounds me unlocked with a key,
Your eyes so inviting locks onto me,
How my heart yearns for your touch and affection,
But that which is broken from lack of connection,
Your precious laugh warms my broken soul,
Your jokes lift me like a newborn foal,
That feels my heart with love for you,
As hard and strong as a piece of coal

    You have such a talent here, after i read your profile, i thought the poems would be the same slang style. But they are really beautiful.

    Those lines were my fav! This poem was very good! You have some neat imagery in it that really helps you visualize the depth and strength of the love you feel. It was a good piece!
