Suicidal Lullaby

by Phoenix   May 26, 2007

Come; gently hold me, my lover.
Come whisper our rock-a-bye
Hold me now and ever
Sing this suicidal lullaby.

When black flames flicker out silently
In empty rooms of our hearts
Cold shadows wait patiently,
Dark angels play their part.

Whispers of abandoned dreams
Chills hum a rock-a-bye
My heart tattered, it seems
With a suicidal lullaby

Dancers waltz to forgotten music
Haunted tunes now playing faint
Together we perform Death's act
Never believe this is fate.

Arms of Death we embrace
Kissing Darkness so tenderly
Black Angels, wings of lace
Depart this world so painfully.

I love you with all I am
Please remember our rock-a-bye
Names written in the sand,
And this suicidal lullaby
