One Torch, One Knife

Revolutionaries march with spirits high
Humming tunes of glory,
Some frown, some yell, others watch
behind crimson cotton sheets
They watch the beacons pass by
Along with angry men
With sticks and stones in their eyes
The ghost of Gandhi weeps

No taxes for the poor old souls,
No white or blacks for vermins they are...
Let us create justice in our land,
For justice we are borne!
Nah, a little boy comes out of a box
Face like an angel, a sad, mourning face
He bows his head and prays for peace
But none will come for hate won't cease

Do you fight to light the darkness with good
Or do you fight with anger and hate
Do you fight for good of the entire world
Or to punish those who touched your blood
Wishing to subdue cruelty, the Devil's hand
Yet continuing to provoke oh mighty God
When you yourself cannot win over light,
Nor push the devil's song away...

Like the fire of your enemy- you burn your own,
Like the knifes that pierce you...you pierce back,
Like maddening dogs barking through eternal time,
"An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind"
The cycle remains through war and blood,
Link by link screaming for freedom and liberty--
Yet your soul is still bound by the same lines
That bound the malicious hearts of your foes.

Yes, march to death, for it shall be your death
Reclaim but the shadows of those you killed
Step in their footsteps for you are one
Fighters and tyrants, I see no difference
Each lacking virtues needed for quests
Each like the other, roaring with endless demands
