I liked it. It was different. Perhaps a rhyme or two would have made it better. But it might have ruined it. I don't know. Leave it as it is, I say. I hope your friend likes it as much as i did!!

I can actually hear a pause in the ending.
Then the drummings.
You make it syllabolic.

I think this is wonderful.
It's not original.
But I found a rhythm to this.
I only find it in good poetry.

I loved the imagery you used in the poem. I could clearly see everything you described in the last stanza of the poem. You used strong vocabulary, and it had a nice flow to it. Great job.
