Sticks & Stones,Made Her Skin & Bones

by Lillye   May 28, 2007

A girl that stands just skin and bones
She/s skin and bones, she/s skin and bones
A girl that cries out, she is alone
There/s no-one home, there/s no-one home
She doesn't/t know whether to run or hide
To keep quiet, or tell, confide
For a girl that shivers, white from the cold
The hope and faith, it/s growing old

A girl that stands careless, theres no-one to love
She will not accept love, she will not accept love
A girl that cries herself to sleep, each night
She just holds tight, she just holds tight
They haven/t got a clue, they never did
This secret close, forever hid
For a girl that cant face the mirror each day
She hates herself, there/s no other way

A girl that fakes a smile at school
That/s just one rule, that/s just one rule
A girl that looks, for someone, anyone, to understand
To hold her hand, to hold her hand
She doesn't/t know what she could say or do
To tell the truth, to confide in you
For a girl that walks as skin and bones
Its sticks and stones, its sticks and stones

Those sticks and stones
She/s skin and bones.
