All I ask

I wise man once said to me
"the man whom spends his life searching for meaning
finds no answer but only pain and nothing gained"
we have but one thing to know for certain
that we all die someday
Heaven a waits for every man
all I ask before
I leave this Earth
is to find someone
whos heart completes mine
Someone I can talk to
someone who will smile at me and hold me tight
So make me a promise that I hope you can keep
promise me that i'll find that one
who will wait for me at the golden gates
so we can walk in together
so our
Two souls may entwine as one
to live in the fire of eternity
together
this is all I ask
