Don't Dance Too Fast

by 0laura0   May 29, 2007

Have you ever watched a dragonfly, as it circles, spins, swirls?
Thought to call a friend, who you haven't talked to in a while.
Paused to watch a waterfall, gurgling words, that you've never heard.

Have you considered climbing a mountain?
To see the untouched views before is it's industrialised
Looked at your reflection in the mirror,
Noticing beautiful features you'd never seen.
Contemplated your emotions, whilst watching storm clouds,
Hearing the rain pit-pit-pattering on the ground.

Have you ever:
Stopped.
Listened.
Looked around?

Don't dance with speed day by day, seize things slowly life's better that way.
Take your time to look around, like unopened gifts, there's so much to be found.
There are amazing charms, we take for granted everyday.

The music will stop.
And silently they'll fade away.

Pause each day and take time to reflect, thinking of things we often forget.
Listen to the music, feel the sound, be a part of your own life; let your soul be found.
