When you love someone
Their beauty shines
Like roses on a blank canvas
And the rest of the canvas
Just disappears

When you hate some one
Their beauty hurts your eyes
Like angry red smears of paint
On a blank wall
You think them beautiful
Because it seems so wrong
That they have any beauty
At all
