All alone
with no one to love
Wishing that someone
would fall from above.

sick of believing
That someone really cares
tired of waiting for someone
To patch up my heart that holds so many tears.

Battered and broken
Beaten to the core
the only thing to hide my pain
Was that stupid smile I wore.

Millions of stories
Packed full of lies
Millions of questions
Always beginning in "why!"

so now I sit here alone
Dreaming of a day
When all of this pain
Will vanish away.
