For you mother...

by Luna   May 30, 2007

*I couldnt make the poem any better, because i kept crying as i read it and write*

I've loved and respect you
With all that i've known
My trust you've misplaced
with your very own
eversince we left
to another place
a placed i called home
you've treated me different
my days have grown long

you've picked your choice
of your daughter or your lover
turning your back on your husband
Knowing cheating is wrong
For it seems like my mother
had died all along
with the country i loved
a place i called home
never here with me when i needed you the most

Goodbye to you mother
your words you spoke well
Of how im a burden in your life
that you wish i would die and go to hell
I'm never good enough
to the standards you seek
So i will perish away
To make you smile
All i wanted... was to see you happy!

So i withered away in the dark
With blood on my shoes
And a dagger through my heart
With a note on my hand
saying... "I'm Sorry! i tried, but i guess i wasnt good enough!"
