Hurricane Katrina ( In memory of those who lost there life )

by Kersten   May 31, 2007

The winds blew,
the rain dropped,
the thunder cracked,
we didn't no how to act

Some died,
some survived,
many had little,
many lost all

A storm from hell,
they didn't understand,
but i knew,
that lots would fall

Hurricane Katrina
killed thousands,
but we all found a way
to become one big happy family

We sit outside and watch the rain fall,
wondering how many souls would stand tall,
the next weeks of our life we would find
our friends and family would no longer live on

We never no when a storm
like this will come,
so be prepared
and ready to run

Tell everyone you love them
because one day,
there might just be another
hurricane Katrina

In memory of all those would have lost loved ones in that terrible storm..... It was one of the worst things that ever happened to me and I'm sure many others..... But i lost my home and i found a way to move on so never give up there always something better at the end of the road.....
