Mirror Mask

by lildevilslayer07   May 31, 2007

Lost in a shattered dream
Left to linger on a broken path
Alone in it's forgotten weaknesses
With no protection

You look out the window
You see your bed
A twin lying among it
Ruffling the sheets

While you are looking through the rugged glass
You realize it's not just a dream
But a whole nother world
You have drifted off to

Confused and disfigured
You stumble across a key
That unlocked the door of the darkness
Which held a mask

You pressed it to your face
And without any warning
Your body became a mirror
And your twin was among it

Suddenly the scenery changes
The fight is over
Your twin heads back to the darkness
While you sleep alone in the light
