Endings

by christina   May 31, 2007

Every thing has an end
i did not know that
we were going to end
i held on tight
with all my might
but you slipped away
far far away

When you came back
you saw my back
you asked for forgiveness
but i would not give
you asked for my hand
but my hand
was taken

p.s.

its not one of my best but its the first i ever wrote that rhymed at least sorta

If I may suggest, perhaps tightening up the lines will enhance its flow? It's a nicely penned piece, nonetheless. It could've been better if you expanded it a bit. It seems to be a portion of a greater poem. But then again, it's fine at its current state. All in all, a good effort. -Marian

I liked your poem, people sometimes treat us poorly and they expect us to just forgive them like nothing happend. Keep writting poetry, your young and you have great potential, the more you write the better you'll become. Excellent job 5/5
