I'm really a princess

by libby   May 31, 2007

I dreamt I had a
beautiful
mother. She was young and she
looked like me.
She clutched me to her - I was
crying, because
in the dream
I had never known my father.

She told me about him.
He was a talented man,
famous,
and died a tragic death
when we were both
too young.

She loved him,
she told me, and
she loves me.
She showed me his picture and
he was beautiful.

When I wake up I am back to
ugly parents -
angry with each other,
angry with me and I
can't fix it and they
don't love anyone and
just like a child
I wish my beautiful mother and my
famous father
would come for me.
