Something close to god...

I feel the need
To fill this whole
By speaking to a
lost friend
I never really believed in
But always felt was there
but not by a
name
screamed
by the masses
sought by children on their knees
how do i describe
This feeling of a hand
Around my heart
A god unlike those seen before
A man
Not A man
A ghost of an image
Passed
My past
My god
My creator
I wish to speak to you
As close to heaven
As close to hell
As the living venture
I don't believe in idols
That stand idly by
I don't believe in praying
Too a "dare to fall"
Falling sky
I don't believe in words having the power to save
Not ever the like
of
me
But i do believe in what i have been
What i have seen
And most of all
I believe the reflection of me
When he
Graces my cheek
And image yet to be found
Confusing, ain't it?
But
Is it not the same
as any other
religion?
