In The End

by Miss Megan   Jun 1, 2007

I'm listening but I cant hear,
I'm talking yet I cant speak.
Your hands are at me throat,
Do you know how much you mean to me?

Because in the end we all fall down,
And only our bodies remain.

With this twisted pleasure,
I've again fallen behind.
I'm still searching for something,
Something I cant find.
And when you see me smile,
Know that it's not love.
Because at the end of the day,
All that's left is blood.

You don't seem to understand,
I'm far yet so close.
I lie to you for a reason,
It's the truth that hurts the most.

Because in the end we all fall down,
And only our bodies remain.
Blame me for all I've done wrong,
You're what keeps me sane.

And with this twisted pleasure,
I've again fallen behind.
Im still searching for something,
Something I cant find.
And when you see me smile,
Know that it's not love.
Because at the end of the day,
All that's left is blood.

I'll let you know,
When it's time to go. [x3]

And I'm listening but I cant hear,
I'm talking yet I cant speak.
I'm just trying to show you,
How much you mean to me.
