Life Sonnet

There is no true meaning to this thing life,
Some people think it is the greatest thing,
You now think it causes way too much strife,
Giving a reason why it’s worth living.

You have seen so many people get hurt,
Not knowing that life goes on you give up,
Giving up on life feeling like such dirt,
Feeling like every moment a close up.

A close up on everything you destroyed,
Making everything here seem so worthless,
Trying not to remember just avoid,
Just wanting to fade into the darkness.

Wondering what life had got planned for you,
You will keep holding on but just barely.
