Devour the shadows

I see my body fading
My voice is caving
I hear the vessels burst
Inside my skull.
Sucking up through my throat
With no way to shout... For help
I plead with this darkness.
But what is this power
This strength.
Given to me from shadow
I want this energy... No
Its not what I want.
Let me speak for us.
Devour the shadows
Take them in and let them be
Just as a part of you as me.
Take another breath.
For its your last.
And listen as my voice fades.
I'm here to do our evils
Fulfill all of our sins
Now sit back and watch as I take
Away everything.

    This is a very deep poem, which I find is very...it...it leads you inside it. Haha I find my words hard to describe. I found it very nice though, and I liked it a lot. It's like a passage, atleast I found it that way. It's depth was very dark, and eerie. But I think that was the point, and I loved the term "Devour the shadows".
