A Chance You Would Not Spare...

by Chrissy   Jun 2, 2007

I would not take back the day I met with you,
By first glance I felt felicity.
Babe, you caught my eye, and I caught yours too,
In you I see great simplicity.

I craved in great desire for much of this,
I searched for adventure and passion.
For I knew on kisss would bring vast amounts of bliss,
But with agony in addition.

You could never feel the anguish felt within.
One chance you could not spare.
Does it trouble you to think what could have been,
This lust that felt so rare?

Something told me to give it just one more try.
I never would have suspected to fall so fast,
I did and now I'm left here to die.
Never thought you would have been the dead hand of my past.
