Love Is

by Katrina Nicole   Jun 3, 2007

Belonging to a man,
Love is more strange,
flattering sweet,
like the softest music.

Belonging to a lady,
Love is her true love passion,
boundless as the sea,
like a silk thread in a gown.

To me Love is like the lightning,
Within, there lies more peril.
But, when drawn from the fairest stars,
Love is so sweet to rest.

I am no pilot,
but, with Love's light wings,
I fly like lazy puffy clouds,
above the fruit tree tops.

Other tongues uttering,
Become hateful to myself.
Dost thou not love me?
For I know I truely love you.
