Not just a thought

Far away
inside my mind
there is nowhere left to hide

i ran into a maze one day
and there i dreamed and danced and played.
i had fun till day turned dark
and then i saw a bright green ark.

i followed it going through that maze
i ran as fast as i could, my vision hazed
ahead of me i hit a tree
and i layed there and bled.

i stayed and layed
and night came day
a while later i heard a noise
right after that i saw a boy
this boy held something in his hand
and he was staring

he stared right at the wall
i felt as if my pulse would fall
he started walking towards me
i caught a glimpse of what would be
the misery of me

he walked right up to me
and asked me for a dance
and after that he took my hand
and led me to a platform
i told him there's no music
and he told me just to wait

i stood there feeling like i was crazy
stood there feeling insane
then finally i heard it
the faint scream of someone
he took my hand and started dancing

he got this look in his eyes
that told me he was in disguise
i felt unsafe around this guy
and then he stabbed me in the eye
as blood ran down my face
i fell at a steady pace
he whispered in my ear
and then he disappeared

my last thoughts
ran through my head
faster than a jet
and those words
he would regret
the things he said to me they were
"i saw you first and had to stare
the only thing i care about
would be my truest love"
