World of Deceit and Confusion

by Seeker of Truth   Jun 3, 2007

There once was a boy who had needs;
Food, shelter, love.
There once was a boy who had wants;
Games, friends, material items.
There once was a boy who had a dream;
To fly high above mankind, and watch over everyone.
There once was a boy who had needs;
Food, shelter, clothing.
There once was a boy who had wants;
Money, cards, material items.
There once was a boy who had a dream;
To watch the arrival of peace, though it will not last.
There once was a boy who had needs;
Food, shelter awakening.
There once was a boy who had wants;
Peace, Strength (both physiacl and mental), material items.
There once was a boy who had a dream;
He then realized he needed to wake up and live life the way it was supposed to be lived.
There once was a boy who had needs;
True love, peace, Paradise.
There once was a boy who had wants;
True love, peace, Paradise.
There once was a boy who had dreams;
To attain true love, peace, and Paradise.
There once was a boy who had needs;
He then realized he must keep all necessary needs.
There once was a boy who had wants;
He then realized he must throw away all unecessary wants.
There once was a boy who had hopes;
He then realized to accomplish what needs to be done.
There is a boy who knowingly challenges fate for he is man.
And like man, is trapped in an ongoing circle of suffering, both internal and external.
For this world is blinding and confusing, until you see the true nature and beauty of life and death.
This is what the boy has learned and knows, yet he refuses to go down the right path for he is man.
There once was a boy who was born.
There is a boy who lives.
There is a boy who will die.
Although he knows these things, he does not know his destiny.
