Clock

by Patrick   Jun 6, 2007

We wept
And cried for ourselves,
Wondering where the light in the sky,
The divine beast of inhuman authority
Flew his chariot to.

We wept and cried,
Wondering what we were
Without the immortal clock master,
Controlling the ticks.

Finally we stopped,
And wiped away the rush of tears,
And began to flow
With the ticks of the clock.
