His Love

by Beautifully Broken   Jun 6, 2007

He said those words
watched the joy from seeing him
to the heart shatter pain
that her hazel eyes revealed
confusion, disbelief and so much more
her porcelains skin, going whiter
as the works sank in
the tears running down her face
turning his back he mumbled sorry
walked away with looking back
she watched him walk away
her mind racing with what to say
but her lip only allowed "NO" to escape
her world no longer made sense
grabbing the knife from the counter
she did the only thing that she knew would stop the pain
the blood dripped from her as the minutes
growing weaker, as the memories of him rushed her
fading in to the cold darkness she moaned his name
he got the call
his body trembling
his heart sank, he was going to be sick
falling to the floor
he had killed her
