I cry alone

by Rae osborn   Jun 6, 2007

The dirty looks
The snooty glares
I act like I don't care
The truth is
I do
It hurts so bad
The mean remarks
The stabs in the back
The rumors
The games
High school as turned into a shame
These girls I used to call my friends
Are now bitter enemies.
I try to be tough
I all can do is cry
You wouldn't understand why.
I walk into the lunchroom
I sit me stuff down
I come back with my food
To find out that I lose
My books and papers lay on the floor
And my pride is no-more
You laugh
and
I cry
But you would never understand why.
I eat alone
I sleep alone
I cry alone
