I Died For LOVE

There was a girl
I loved her so
But now I got to let her go
She sat upon another's knee
and told him things she'd not tell me
My dad got home quite late that night
and looked for me from left to right
He knocked on my door
My door he broke
and found me hanging from a rope
He fetched a knife to cut me down
and found a letter on the ground
This is what the letter said:
"Dig a grave, Dig it deep,
Place this letter upon my feet,
Draw a picture of a dove,
to show the world i died for LOVE
