Chasing Time

by Tasha   Jun 8, 2007

You're trailing through my head still, tracing every memory of that night.
Your warm hands upon my back, holding me in complete silence.
The heat exchanging from you to me, making my body relax.
While I hold my face to your chest, hearing the rhythm of your heart.

You whisper words that I long to hear of how I make you feel.
How you never want to part from me.
But I quickly bring you to silence as I lean my forehead to yours.
Feeling the sweat smear upon me, as our hot breath begins to fog the windows.

Everything is turned off and the lights are gone too.
Yet the moon is bright enough to show the expressions that you make.
But it doesn't seem to make this place any cooler.
For we are much to close, as our bodies somehow feel like one.

The only sound is our breathing and your laugh, as I lay my head on your stomach.
You trace the outline of my body, sending a shiver through my veins.
Then begin kissing my neck, reassuring me that everything is ok.
The feeling of your lips against my skin shakes my core.
Leading me to let go of all sanity that I once possessed.

Your eyes looking into my own seeing right to my soul.
Trading answers in for unrealistic questions of doubt.
You leave a mark, not only by your teeth, but with your words.
Piercing my neck and stinging my heart continually.
Continuing right to my drive where the ending to our adventure parts off, leaving only secrets. -
