Your arrival

by Erica   Jun 9, 2007

Feelings from the past send shivers up my spine,
You brought those feelings back, no longer am I fine.
Your arrival was not suppose to be like this,
Crying with fear, balled up fists.
I emotionally brokedown,
And for the first time in a while; I wished you weren't around.
Our family was finally beginning to move on,
But now because of you; no one gets along.
The night you came home, my emotions started pouring out;
All I could do was scream and shout.
It was the worst I was ever crying,
And for once in my life; I stopped trying.
I had all my hope put in you,
Even when pain was all I knew.
But when you got out, I let it go;
Old habits, are all you know.
