My True Love

by Emma   Jun 11, 2007

Every time I close my eyes, memories of you remain.
You're like a permanent imprint, permanently left to stain.
No matter how hard I try, I can't get you out of my head,
All that recurs are images and all the things you said.
There is not one thing I don't remember about you,
Inside I'm hurting, I'm bleeding, I feel so blue.
I have lost count recently on all the tears I've shed,
Sometimes I wonder if I'm better off dead.
I wonder to myself will I ever be able to get over you?
Deep down I think I'll never be able to.
But if I do I still know I will always think of you,
The reason why is because my love for you was true.
