Masquerade

by RetroRavey   Jun 12, 2007

Cover your eyes
So that I can't find you,
And your face
So that I can't see.
Dance upon stars
With a rose on your lips
And let the cotton of your dress
Flow across the floor.
Sit on your moonlight
Blood on your lips
And kiss my cheek to stain.
Rip out your wings
And scream to me...
This
Our private Masquerade.

Wow I love this. It's unique and intreguing. The descriptive words created great imagery and the flow was perfect. The use of vocab was great and the ending was very good. The title made me want to read this, so a good choice there, tieing in well with the poem. 5/5 Definately.
