Once in your life
true love comes by
takes you to new heights
can't explain why.

It hits you hard
and leaves it's marks
toy's with your heart
starts a few sparks.

Your friends give warning
but you just ignore
fall even deeper than
then it hurts you more.

Now you sit here
wondering what went wrong
love just walked out
left you all alone.

See love is blind
that we all know
without that special someone
it will never grow.

Hearts always get broken
never care how you feel
knowing scars they leave
won't ever really heal.

Now that I learned
that love grows cold
and sits long enough
gets covered with mold.

So love for me
will be forever gone
