Darkness descends
i feel it on the edge of my mind
greedy with his love
as i hear myself sigh

his name on my lips
all i think about
all the time
something about this emotions not right

so torn down
one word at time
not beautiful no more
not worth the time

shes so lonely
and he don't care
how to win him back
she don't know if she dares

lost and confused
not knowing what to do
laughs at the pain
as her heart rips in shame

she cant hold his heart
if she cant hold his hand
wanting to know
if hes her man

is this one for real or
his he like the rest
does he say he loves me
then don't give a shit

iv been through this before
i doubt love so easily
hurt so many times
if only he needed me

lost in his arms
every once in awhile
