Society

Dont peel me apart with your eyes
Dont magnify imperfections with words
Worlds slice slicker than blades ever could

Tears can't improve images seen to others
But lead emotions to extreams that can
Cripple my reputation and murder my character

Print the ideal on paper to read
Watch them deteriorate following simple words
Nesecity for perfection disables us all

If I may say so myself, society is messed up beyond repair. Your thoughts in this poem are spot on and really smart. Im glad you can see this and not be oblivious and blind to it all. The cruelty of society is sickening, really what do we gain from it? Great poem!
