Snow (haiku)

by Hatori   Jun 14, 2007

Snowflakes softly fall,
As white as a flying dove,
Winter re-awakes.

Hmm, first haiku I've tried in here.
It made me think of how even in the depths of sorrow, there is still the hint, if only a memory, of the joy in life. Even if the tempest rages more fiercely as a result, it sows a seed for spring to follow.
    Beautiful haiku.
