Just Waiting...

I get my hopes up
Thinking that you're actually going to call.
You have me waiting by the phone
But it isn't ringing at all.

I thought you really had feelings for me
but I guess I thought wrong.
I thought you wouldn't make me weak
But then again you didn't make me strong.

I'm just waiting getting my hopes up again
And I'm staying up all night.
I'm just waiting to get my heart broken
Because I know I will before the tonight.

I thought that I really liked you
But my feelings I guess aren't real.
I guess you're not the one to show me
It feels good to have a broken heart heal.

I know that you're not going to call
But it feels good to THINK you are.
All I can do is just wait and
Wish upon a shooting star.
